SOY WAX MELTS
Soy Wax Melts are used in an oil burner instead of oil and water to release wonderful fragrances in your desired living space. Soy wax melts are solid wax and they are completely wickless. The best quality wax melts are made primarily of soy wax (rather than petrol based paraffin wax).

Characteristics
- Soy wax, is a natural vegan wax that has an excellent scent throw and melts evenly.
- Since soy wax is made from soybeans, it is friendly to the environment because soybeans are a renewable resource.
- Soy wax contains nothing artificial, which makes it a better alternative to old-fashioned paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted.
- Soy wax is non-toxic making it better both for the environment and our health. This is especially important if you are pregnant, have kids, or have pets, because it’s the safest option health-wise.
- Many mainstream candle brands make their candles with paraffin wax. Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum.
- Paraffin wax releases harmful substances when burnt, which have contributed to its fall out of favor.
- It’s common to hear people complain of headaches when paraffin candles burn, but in general, this isn’t due to the scent of the wax but rather the chemicals it releases into the air.
- Various university studies found that burning paraffin wax candles give off benzene, which is a carcinogen, that promotes the growth of cancer. Same studies found that soy wax did not give off benzene, unlike paraffin wax.
- Soy wax melts can last up to 2 years if they are stored properly. Some users even believe that their fragrance throw becomes stronger the longer they are stored. This may be because of the cure time for each wax melt. Curing means that the fragrance/essential oil and the wax have had time to bind together properly.
